Class 5 Truck Driver – Auckland based

We are a Christchurch based Company providing high quality services and products in the Crane Hire, Civil Engineering and Construction, Precast Manufacture, Heavy Haulage, Building Relocation.

We own and operate an extensive range of plant including cranes to 600T capacity, trucks, transporters and piling equipment. In total we have in excess of 300 major plant items.

Due to growth within our Auckland branch we now require another Driver based in Auckland.

Requirements/Attributes needed:

• Loading/Transportation of machinery, precast panels, crane and civil equipment etc
• Class 5 licence required
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Are you willing to travel, work overtime and weekends when required
• Have a high level of honesty and integrity
• Must be part of a team
• We have a ‘zero’ tolerance drug and alcohol policy that includes pre-employment drug testing.

Tower Crane Operators - Auckland based

We own and operate nationally over 100 cranes ranging from 5T to 600T capacity and due to our increased workload we are currently seeking operators experienced in Tower Crane operations in Auckland.

Attributes we seek include -
• Experience and knowledge of the crane industry
• Be competent in reading and understanding technical data and crane rating charts
• Have a cooperative friendly manner and get on well with others
• NZQA Crane Operator Qualification is desirable
• Have a high level of honesty and integrity
• We have a drug and alcohol policy that includes pre-employment drug testing

Rigger/Dogman - Auckland based

We are New Zealand’s largest Crane Hire Company operating over 100 cranes (All Terrain, Truck Mount, Pick and Carry, Self-Loading, Crawler and Tower types owned and operated) and our fleet includes the largest Mobile, Crawler and Tower currently operating in New Zealand.

Due to increased workload we are seeking a Rigger/Dogman to be based in Auckland.

- Unit Standard #3789 (preferred but not essential)
- Class 2 Drivers licence and Pilot licence (preferred but not essential)

Attributes we seek include -
- Proven Rigging/Dogman experience
- Must have experience and knowledge of the crane industry
- Be competent in reading and understanding technical data and crane rating charts
- Have a cooperative friendly manner and get on well with others
- Have a high level of honesty and integrity

Electrician - Tower Cranes

We are New Zealand’s largest Crane Hire company with over 100 cranes including Crawler, Mobile, All terrain, Pick & Carry & Tower types. We also own & operate construction hoists (building lift used in construction).

Based in either Auckland or Christchurch (our main base) and reporting to our Tower Crane Manager; duties of this full time position would include:

- Repairs and maintenance to electrical systems of our fleet of tower cranes & hoists
- Liaising with manufacturer representatives and other experienced industry suppliers
- Testing and checking of cranes prior to erection
- Connection and testing of cranes during erection
- Assisting with other mechanical aspects including erecting and dismantling of cranes etc.
- Fault finding and repair to electronic systems on other crane types (All terrain, Crawler etc.)
- Other general industrial electrician type duties including buildings etc. as required

Attributes we seek include
- A can do attitude and willingness to assist in all aspects of our business.
- Be registered and able to sign off COC for tower cranes, hoists etc. (preferable but not essential).
- Have a good understanding of complex electrical and electronic systems and be able to fault find.
- Be competent at identifying and sourcing parts and components from both original crane manufacturers and other suppliers.
- Be willing to work flexible hours (many tower cranes are erected and dismantled on weekends).
- Be willing to travel widely throughout New Zealand and on occasion to the South Pacific.
- Be comfortable working at heights.
- Hold the safety of yourself and others in the highest regard.
- Industry specific training would be provided.
