International Search and Rescue Award

In 2011, Smith Crane and Construction was honoured to receive Honorary Membership of the United Kingdom International Search and Rescue Team in recognition of its rescue efforts at the PGC Building site following the Christchurch earthquake.

Smith Crane and Construction was also presented with a New Zealand Police Appreciation Award for its contribution to the rescue of 36 people from the Hotel Grand Chancellor following the devastating 2011 Christchurch earthquake.
