Over 900t of Precast makes it’s way to Antarctica

Smith Crane and Construction manufactured, transported and lifted over 900 tons of precast to Antarctica ❄️

This included over 60 container flat rack loads and 6 pile caps weighing from 30t to70t each. Due to the extremely cold temperatures, standard precast lifting equipment could not be used, so SCC designed and manufactured custom lifting equipment for this project.
