First Base Tower Installed at Kaiwera Downs Stage 2

Our South Island crawler crane and transport teams have been hard at work getting the cranes safely down to Gore and assembled for Stage 2 of the Mercury Energy Kaiwera Downs Wind Farm Project.

A major milestone this week — the first base tower is now installed!

Huge thanks to our hardworking crews on site. We’re looking forward to seeing the first Vestas wind turbine completed!
